Two Months!!

On December 7th the babies turned two months old.  December 8th was their due date.  It is still so crazy that they were two months old on their due date!!

Our daily schedule is the babies eat every 3 to 4 hours around the clock.  Both Sydney and Brayden are becoming more alert after feedings for about half an hour.  They are also starting to focus more on whats going on around them.

Sydney Elizabeth

5 lbs 11 oz
wearing preemie clothes although she is starting to get too tall for some
Has been wearing newborn diapers since she came home from the hospital

Sydney is such a sweet baby!  She has discovered she likes laying on the floor and kicking around.  She does not have much patience when she's hungry-- she goes from 0 to 60!  She can be sleeping one minute and then in the next moment screaming for food.  Sydney doesn't really cry, she just screams when she is hungry.  And she seems to have only one volume-- LOUD!  Ha ha but we love it.  She is a little fighter for sure!
Feeding:  2 to 2 1/2 oz each bottle
Her left eye has a clogged tear duct, so it produces a lot of green eye goopers.  Often when she wakes up, her long eyelashes have gotten stuck shut because of all the goop and she can't open her eye.  It's so sad!

Brayden Christopher

4 lbs 8 oz
Wearing preemie clothes and most all of his clothes are still baggy on him
In preemie diapers

Brayden is the most adorable little boy!  His hair is growing like crazy and he might need his first haircut soon!  Poor little guy has begun spitting up more each time he eats.  Sometimes it is projectile and even comes out of his nose.  Understandably, he is miserable when this happens.
He was circumcised at his 2 month appointment and handled it like a champ.  He also received 4 shots and the Dr warned us that after all that he might be a very fussy baby.  Brayden was just a little extra sleepy that night, but back to his happy self immediately after.
Brayden is such a chill baby- he loves to just sit and look around.  He is very easy-going.
Feeding: 1.5 oz of formula when he takes a bottle
