Our weekend in Al-ba-kway-kway

This weekend both the men's and women's teams traveled to Albuquerque, NM for meets.
Chris vaulted a season PR today and I okay in the 60m and 200m. Even though we didn't compete as well as we'd hoped, we still had a lot of fun getting to spend time with each other. Thanks to per diem, we were able to go out to dinner at Macaroni Grill, Rudy's BBQ, and Coldstone.

Finally on the plane on our way. Our original flight was canceled and we had to wait a couple hours for our new flight.

Husband and Wife: After the meet at the indoor track at the Albuquerque Convention Center
It's so fun being married and being able to compete together!

Every weekend...

The track season has officially begun and now all of our weekends will be filled with traveling and competing. Here we go again..

This past weekend we went to Pocatello for a Friday night meet. Both Chris and I did okay in our events, nothing stellar but at least a good solid starting point for the season.
Look at those guns! :)

Us in the ISU Holt Arena that we both love so much (cough, cough). Hopefully we don't have to go back to the wood track again this year

HoneyMoon Adventures

Over Christmas break we spent 2 weeks on our honeymoon; one relaxing week at a timeshare in Rosarito, Mexico and one fun week in San Diego.

FOOTBALL
Thanks to Chris' very generous uncle we were able to get tickets to 2 bowl games: The Poinsettia and the Holiday bowl. Both games we had great seats. At the Poinsettia we were up in box seats and for the Holiday bowl we were down very close. Too bad that game turned out to be such a blow-out.

CHRISTMAS!
Santa came!
Our first Christmas morning together. This is also our first Christmas tree :)

Mr. BBQ! Chris made delicious ribs for our Christmas dinner

BBQ ribs, mashed potatoes, bacon 'n green bean
s, garden salad, and Martinelli's:
So delicious!

There wasn't a whole lot to do or see where we were at in Mexico. So one day we drove down the coast to Ensenada and got some delicious shrimp tacos.

We spent a fun day at the San Diego Zoo!

Chris' favorite part was the petting zoo with the kids

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve: We didn't do anything too exciting. We walked around downtown San Diego and people-watched all the "young, single" people dressed up going to parties and clubs. Then we went to Albertson's and rented two RedBox movies, got ice cream, and Martinelli's. We did go on the roof of the hotel at midnight to see if there were any fireworks, but there weren't any.
Happy New Year!

Temple

One of the highlights of our trip was going to the San Diego Temple. We were able to go twice. It was a beautiful reminder of our wedding day and the covenants we have made.

On the plane on our way home

A New Little Family

On Dec. 19, 2009 a new Little family was formed.
We are so excited to set off on our adventure through life together.

So I guess the married thing to-do is make a blog, and since we are now married...here's the blog!
