Five Months

Time feels like it has picked up its pace recently!

Our daily routine is we wake up between 7-8:30am.  Both babies are SO smiley and happy in the morning!  Play for about half hour then eat and play some more.  Down for a nap 10-10:30 and sleep for about two hours.  Up and eat and play for a few hours then back down for a nap.  Depending on how long that nap is, they take a mini nap around 5-6.  We have started doing bath time about 7 and bed about 8.  They are both waking up 1-2 a night still.  When they wake up at the same time Chris has to wake up also.

Both babies are so social and fun!

SYDNEY ELIZABETH
Sydney rolled over a few weeks ago.

Sydney is so strong!  She has baby muscle!  You can see the definition in her back and her quads and calves!  She still LOVES standing.
Her clogged tear duct has cleared up.
She still has the world's best smile!  It lights up her entire face.  Her little eyes sparkle and she is absolutely gorgeous with her long eyelashes.  She is a baby doll and she has completely captured her daddy's heart!

Sydney is on the brink of being out of newborn clothes.

She likes bath time and she is so interactive with people.  She loves to maintain eye contact and she smiles all the time.  She has turned into the easiest baby- the only time she fusses is if she is hungry (and she lets you know it) or if she wants to stand.  Thats about it-- occasionally she will get fussy if she is sleepy.

She loves the changing table- put her up there and she smiles and coos. She loves to be out and about.  Every time we leave the house she eats it up. We went to the zoo last week and she loved looking around.
Her hair is starting to lighten up.  She has started grabbing thing- holding onto link toys and has begun reaching for things.
She is out of the swaddle and just sleeps in a sleep sack, with both hands above her head-- touchdown!  She is sleeping much better without the swaddle sack.
Grey brown eyes.

BRAYDEN CHRISTOPHER

Brayden is a little flirt!!
He is still spitting up a lot.  The boy LOVES to breastfeed.  LOVES.  Getting him to take a bottle is a struggle.  So Sydney usually gets a bottle and he gets the breast.  He still sleeps swaddled.
He tilts his head to the side and makes a coy smile.  He has discovered his voice and coos and talks all the time, especialy to the animals in the mobile in the baby swing.  He still hates tummy time.
Newborn clothes and size one diapers. Is turning into a momma's boy-- he gets fussy and spits up. His hair is crazy long on the top- and completely bald in the back.  His eyes are still blue but turning more grey. He also loves the changing table and having his diaper changed.  He loves bath time and has started kicking and splashing the water all around.  He has had a few nights where he has only woken up once!  He is so adorable and I love how he looks like a tiny, handsome boy with his missionary hair-do (the comb-over part)
