2013 Year in Review

Because I've neglected my blog for so long, in an attempt to catch up I am just going to post the highlights from our last year (which is kind of ironic considering it was our most eventful year yet!).

In January we spent a weekend snowmobiling at our friend Jane's cabin near Oakley, UT.

In February Chris received a job offer at Ortho Development in Draper, Utah.

On March 1st my grandpa Phil passed away and we attended his funeral in St. George.

Hiking in Snow Canyon with Maralee, Christian, Mia, and Mikey

March 16th Chris ran a 1/2 Marathon in Moab

March 17th- St. Patrick's Day-- we did our second IUI at the Utah Fertility Clinic (and had a follicle reduction performed at the same time)
The Luck of the Irish must have been with us....

Because it was a SUCCESS!!

But we didn't find out until April 1st

Murder Mystery Party in March

Chris took a week off work before starting at Ortho the end of March.
We took a road trip to Bryce Canyon and down to Las Vegas.

We did a little off-roading with Aussie

We met up with the Gardner's during their Spring Break for some hiking at Snow Canyon

On April Fool's Day we found out we were pregnant!!!!!
(I actually knew before that, I took 3 pregnancy tests on Easter morning and hid them in Chris' Easter basket.  But I took a blood test at the UFC on April 1st for the official results)

In June we bought a house!!

And celebrated our birthdays

July 12th found out having a boy and girl!

This is how we announced it:

The end of July we had our last Page Family get-together before Nate and Laurie moved to Maine

Beginning of August moved into our house

In September we took maternity photos with my friend Rachel.  I am SO glad we did this, because little did we know, the babies would be born two weeks later.

In September at my 28 week appointment the doctor discovered there was an issue with Brayden's umbilical cord.  I went to the hospital daily for doppler ultrasounds and non-stress tests until the day the twins were born.
