Italy! Cinque Terre and Lucca

4th July

For the 4th this year we had a BBQ at my parents house and invited our track buddies.  I had fun making some patriotic treats.  Victor brought his HUGE grill over and we made a feast!  We had way more food than we could possibly eat.

Salt Lake Birthday weekend getaway

For our birthday's this year we spent a weekend at the Marriott in downtown Salt Lake.

We had dinner at the Tucano's at Gateway Mall

Chris decided to use the modern art to display his polevaulting form

We went for a walk.  It was blazing hot--99 degrees.  We walked 4 blocks down to get a snack.  

We tried out the famour Bruges Waffles and Frites and it definitley lived up to all the hype. 

We played digital golf.  Chris had a lot of fun--i mostly just enjoyed sitting in the A/C.
